A power steering pressure hose is a critical component within a vehicle's steering wheel system. It transports hydraulic power steering fluid to the power steering rack and pump from the reservoir. This fluid functions specifically within a pressurized system.

Pressure hoses and return hoses are rubber products with a limited life span. If your vehicle is more than 10 years old and other power steering components are being replaced, all rubber hoses should be replaced during that same service period to ensure system integrity.
